San Juan birding
If you just walk around Old San Juan, where you will dock, you can bird for some of the most common birds and a couple of parrot species. From the Morro Fort you can scan for pelicans, terns and gulls and boobies in the bay and out in the ocean. There is a free trolley service in San Juan. I suggest you take it straight to El Morro and walk and bird your way back to the ship.
